The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ethiopia is the official Dutch diplomatic mission in Addis Ababa. It promotes bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Ethiopia in areas such as trade, agriculture, development, education, governance, and humanitarian assistance. The embassy also represents Dutch interests with the African Union and regional organizations. Consular services include passport renewals, emergency travel documents, civil registration, document legalization, and assistance for Dutch nationals.
Information on Schengen visas, Dutch residence permits, and other travel-related services is provided through the embassy and the Netherlands Worldwide platform, with many visa applications submitted through the authorized VFS Global Visa Application Centre. Most consular services are available by appointment only.
